Hi Folks,
Here are some key documents to work with, as we format our essays.
For peer editing, there are three critical documents:
1. This survey needs to be completed by the end of class on Thursday (DO NOT do it before then - unless you finished writing your paragraphs:docs.google.com/spreadsheet/viewform?hl=en_US&formkey=dHVWN0pHVldOQmJfb2Z2ZU85eW5IWUE6MQ#gid=0
2. These are the instructions for the peer editing job you need to complete over the weekend - you will be doing this in THREE other essays! docs.google.com/document/d/1992gooTSuyFeaAZZrV9nVk_ILhr723Qcco7oA1crYm4/edit
3. This is the peer editing checklist. You need to PASTE this into the BOTTOM of your essay - under your conclusion. docs.google.com/document/d/1_WfCkNzsKN5v6v58GNpkgTZh8P2t_L57PbiZTd3jIko/edit
To insert the peer editing checklist, follow these steps:
Here is a SAMPLE ESSAY - docs.google.com/document/d/1DJmcVLib0z7HgwjbRgRazfOW4A2o-p7UZiNqOqpYlFc/edit
use it to make sure yours is in the right format...
*heading in top left
*title in center
*all parts labeled properly
*(TS) ONLY in the intro - not between each paragraph
*1.5 or double spaced, with a normal sized font.

To insert the peer editing checklist, follow these steps:
- open your essay doc and go to the bottom. Skip a couple lines under your conclusion and click Insert => Page break
- Now, open the editing doc link above. Click edit => select all. Once everything is highlighted, hold down "command-C" - this copies everything.
- Go back to your essay, and go down to the new blank page you created. click 'command-V' - this pastes those boxes into the bottom of your document.
